St-John’s School Expansion Project – Wild Orchid donated $25,000 US in 2008 to help them build 4 new classrooms and a whole new upper floor.

Students Sponsorship – Wild Orchid has sponsored Doyla Foreman, a 25-year-old local single mom from Placencia. We helped Doyla through her college education, paying all her student fees, accommodation, and transport. She obtained her teacher’s training at Belize University in 2013.

Keanna Leslie is a standard 5 student at Peninsula International Academy. She is a local Belizean 12-year old girl. She is improving in all her skills and is demonstrating great motivation, progress, and accomplishment in her first year at PIA. Her teacher has given her a ‘student of the month’ award and boasts about what a great student Keanna has become.

Peninsula International Academy donation – Wild Orchid donated 7 tablets in 2013 for this new private school’s technology program.

The Outlet Youth Center – An after-school non-profit organization for children and teens – founded by members of Wild Orchid.

The Outlet Youth Center – Wild Orchid is a platinum founding member, having donated over $3,000 US over the last 2 years 

Placencia Girls Football Club – A volunteer program for girls in the Placencia Community – we are volunteer coaches

Build-a-home project – Wild Orchid has built a home for some of its employees. We encourage all business owners in Placencia to provide accommodations for their employees, whenever possible. The rent in Placencia is very expensive for local workers, so by providing them a home, we are helping them save their money, and invest in basic needs such as education, groceries, and clothing.
